The making of "Gain"

Hey! I'm going to break down how I created the image on page 4 of my portfolio. The piece is called Gain.

First, I took pictures of this sexy laundry detergent bottle.


Then I pulled all of the photos into Photoshop to "cut out" the background.

Next, I resembled the photographs.


Finally, when I had it just right, I printed the image and cut it out (This time in real life--with scissors!). If you look closely you can see in the picture below where the print is held on to the steel by magnets. That is not a Photoshoped background, those are real life magnets!!!!!!! That is how I did it.
